    Meet the partners: Clúster Digital de Catalunya

    As the coordinator of the TAURUS PROJECT, CLÚSTER DIGITAL DE CATALUNYA stands at the forefront of driving digital innovation and skills enhancement in the European agrifood manufacturing industry. Based in Barcelona, Spain, CLDI is a non-profit organization that unites over 96 ICT agents, including companies, R&D centres, and technology centres, primarily from the metropolitan area of Barcelona.

    CLDI’s core mission is to stimulate innovation and research through intensive collaboration, sharing tools, experience, and knowledge to efficiently promote technology transfer, networking, and information dissemination among its members. This collective strength is crucial in boosting the competitiveness of the Catalan ICT sector by fostering a business culture rooted in collaboration and open innovation.

    In the TAURUS project, CLDI’s leadership is instrumental:

    • Project Management and Coordination: CLDI leads Work Package 1 and Work Package 7, ensuring dynamic and efficient governance throughout the project’s 36-month duration. This includes overall project management, quality assurance, risk management, and effective communication with both stakeholders and the European Commission.
    • SME Counselling and Guidance: CLDI leads Work Package 4, dedicated to “Module 1 – The Counselling and Guidance Lab for SMEs”. This involves developing accurate profiles for SMEs, defining customized strategic roadmaps for their transition to Industry 5.0, and designing a matching tool to align company needs with training programs.
    • Pilot Implementation and Dissemination: CLDI plays a key role as the task leader for the TAURUS Talent Accelerator pilot implementation (Task 8.2) and leads TAURUS Dissemination Strategy, Plan and Networking (Task 6.1 and 9.1).

    Clúster Digital’s commitment and extensive experience from previous EU projects like Cluster Academy, EPICENTRE, or HESTIA ensure that TAURUS benefits from a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record in fostering innovation and digital skills development across sectors.

    École des Ponts Business School was proud to host the opening day of the TAURUS Project-Talent Accelerator for the agrifood food manufactUring industRy 1st Assembly Meeting, bringing together European partners to advance innovation, digitalization, and skills development across the agrifood manufacturing sector.

    The day began with a warm welcome from Dr. Giorgos Dimitriou and an introduction to the project’s upcoming milestones and deliverables.

    Key discussions followed on:
    ✅Work Package 2 – led by EIT Food South, mapping EU gaps and profiling the agrifood workforce towards Industry 4.0–5.0.
    ✅Work Package 3 – led by Acceleralia, outlining the design and development of the TAURUS Talent Accelerator Platform, a pivotal step toward empowering reskilling and upskilling across Europe.

    The sessions concluded with a collaborative wrap-up and an evening networking dinner, a perfect opportunity for partners to connect and exchange insights in the heart of Paris.

    We look forward to continuing tomorrow with discussions on SME counselling, training design, and communication strategies for sustainable impact.
